Coming back to art late in life....and LOVING IT!

I'm very pleased to announce that for the fourth time in eight months one of my paintings has been recognized with a Bold Brush Fav15% award.   The Bold Brush competition is an international online event which draws some of the finest of today's artists.  There were approximately 2,200 entries for the March 2018 competion in which  "The Color of Light" competed.

The Bold Brush Fav15% is not one of the major awards of the competition, but does indicate a special recognition by the staff of the competition.  I am proud that it is my fourth Fav15% award in less than a year.  A major award in the Bold Brush competition remains a goal to strive for.  I'll keep painting and competing.

Meanwhile I hope you enjoy my still life painting, "The Color of Light".  I continue to find still life to be one of my favorite subjects.  In this particular work, my goal was - as the title of the painting indicates - to explore and hopefully capture the effect of intense window light on the quiet indoor scene.  This painting is available through my website at www.brucehancockart.com
